Website Redesign: Driving Online Bookings Through UX Transformation
Role
Senior Graphic Designer
Industry
Transport

Overview
Bikes Only is Australia’s largest dedicated motorcycle transport company, relying heavily on its website as the central hub for bookings and customer enquiries.
I was engaged as a freelance designer through Lekker Agency to design key pages for a new website, helping modernise the brand’s digital presence and improve the overall user experience.
The Challenge
The existing website experience lacked clarity and usability, making it difficult for users to quickly understand the service offering or complete key actions such as requesting a quote or making a booking.
The challenge was to translate early-stage wireframes into high-quality, user-focused designs that would improve navigation, simplify decision-making and support conversion.
The Approach
Working from initial wireframes provided by the Lekker Agency team, I was responsible for developing high-fidelity UI designs across key pages, including Home, Services and How it Works.
My approach focused on:
Creating clear, structured layouts to guide users through the booking journey
Designing responsive concepts across both mobile and desktop to ensure a consistent experience
Producing multiple design concepts for each page to explore different approaches and refine the final direction
Collaborating closely with developers by handing over detailed designs for implementation in Webflow.
The work balanced usability with visual clarity, ensuring the site not only looked modern but also functioned effectively as a conversion tool.

The Outcome
The redesigned website delivered a significantly improved user experience, making it easier for customers to request quotes and book motorcycle transport services.
In addition, the updated design helped modernise the overall brand and create a more seamless, intuitive digital experience for users.
The result was a cleaner, more effective website aligned to both user needs and business goals.
