In early 2024, Bikes Only initiated a rebranding effort, beginning with a logo redesign. They reached out to the Lekker Agency for help. As a freelance designer for Lekker, I designed a series of concepts for the Bikes Only brand and a secondary brand, Bikes Only Transport. The challenge was to create logos that were visually cohesive, and belonging to the same brand family.



Considering their focus on transportation, I centered the design around the theme of 'movement.' I incorporated this idea into the letter "B" by merging it with a forward-moving arrow, symbolising progress and momentum. This concept was applied consistently across various platforms, including print, digital media, and semi-trailer truck graphics.

The concept I created was one of the top contenders, but in the end, Bikes Only chose to go with a different design. While it was disappointing not to get my designs over the line, it was still a great project to be part of.
