Kiandra

In late 2022, Kiandra shifted its focus from 'Rapid Application Development' to delivering business-critical software. To align with this new direction and appeal to the target audience, Kiandra decided to refresh its website. With my experience working on previous iterations of the website, I was excited to take on the challenge.

Process

There were a number of key steps to follow to ensure the website's design and build would be successful.

To begin with, I developed a mood board and experimented with simple designs that adhered to Kiandra's brand guidelines while presenting a refreshed look.

I then created low-fidelity wireframes for every page and worked with Kiandra’s Comms Manager for to produce the accompanying copy. These pages were then reviewed by Kiandra’s Senior Leadership Team and swiftly approved.

From there, I developed high-fidelity designs for each page in both mobile and desktop versions, along with a design system and style guide.

A site built in just two weeks

The designs - created in Figma - were then passed onto a developer who built out the site in Webflow in just two weeks. I then worked closely with the Comms Manager again to finalise copy, optimise content and test performance across mobile and desktop.

Outcome

Kiandra's updated website went live in early 2023 and received positive feedback from users for its improved design, focused messaging, and easier access to information. As a result, there was a significant increase in user traffic and time spent on the site, leading to a 250% improvement in weekly lead volume through contact form submissions.
